I'm going to be showing some new work at Bluebird in Capitol Hill for the second Thursday art walk in December. Here is the blurb that should run with the show:
Mark VonRosenstiel has a background in mathematics, which he thinks is very clearly seen in what he makes, but very few people tend to agree. He enjoys bright colors, solid lines and ideas that start off far apart, but at the end come together. This show will exhibit some new works of house paint on paper -- mostly images of saints, dogs and giant heads. Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to bring people who they both know and have just met. More information on Mark is available at www.markvonrosenstiel.com.
There are other things, though! DJs will be keeping things moving and to motivate those that aren't sure if they want to come, there will be a keg or two free of charge.
